Happy December, Quiet Corner Swarm! Today is Tuesday 12/2, and that means it’s National Mutt Day! We celebrate all those pooches of questionable origins, who often turn out to be the best pets (if you remember, I put my dogs Hunter and Ruby in here a few months ago - they’ll be getting some extra treats today!).

EMAIL BROUGHT TO YOU BY
WINDHAM PRESERVATION INC.

Final call to lock in a night that actually slows December down instead of speeding it up.
On Friday, December 6, award-winning Celtic harpist Áine is bringing her Celtic holiday magic back to historic St. Paul’s Church in Windham Center. Her playing has that “close your eyes, this might be what heaven sounds like” vibe — the kind of calm you’re going to wish you’d booked once the holiday chaos hits.
And it’s more than just a concert:
Optional meet & greet next door at the beautiful historic home of Andrew & Hilary Celentano.
Proceeds support Windham Preservation Inc., the crew working to restore the Windham Inn and keep Windham Center’s historic charm alive instead of letting it fade into “remember when…” stories.
Free self-guided tour maps are waiting at the Windham Inn and on the Windham Preservation Inc. website so you can stroll the green, admire the old houses, and see exactly what your ticket is helping protect.
Seats are limited and this is our last reminder before show week.
If you’ve been meaning to go, this is the moment - grab your tickets below before they’re gone.

CT BUZZ DINNER CLUB
People jumped on this faster than I expected, and seats are already getting scooped up for December 10th.
If you’ve been hovering on the fence thinking, “That sounds cool, I’ll get to it later,” this is your nudge. Once we fill these tables, that’s it for the first dinner – no overflow list, no secret extra room, just one night with a curated mix of locals swapping real stories over good food.
Reminder of the vibe:
No pitches, no name tags, no weird icebreakers
6 people at a table, matched by a quick personality + vibes quiz
You pay 16 bucks to lock in your seat and support this newsletter
You just show up, eat, and talk – everyone covers their own tab
